Cornerstone Christian Fellowship extends a warm welcome to you. Whether you are visiting us for the first time or a return visitor, we hope you enjoy our vision and desire to join us not only in worship but in serving our Lord and our community. Our motto “Come and see...go and tell!” captures who we are and what is our mission. The heart of God is a missionary heart. We believe our Father desires everyone to enter into a personal and intimate relationship with His Son and their Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. Therefore, He has called His people to be His disciples to be a missionary people and His church to be a missionary church in, to, and for the world. Cornerstone has three characteristics that make up the fabric and the culture of the church. First, we have a rich diversity of people from many different countries and ethnic origins. This not only displays the reconciliation of the Christian faith, but also allows a newcomer to feel welcome and comfortable. Second, there is a deep sense of joy which is evident in our worship service. We understand life to be a journey and our worship celebration includes those elements that are meaningful and relevant for anyone on the journey of life. Third, as a missionary people, we focus on serving our neighbours and community with practical and significant programs and projects as we desire to share His love with others. The Cornerstone congregation is a warm and passionate group of people who believe the church is one of those rare institutions in society that does not exist mainly for the benefit of its members. In other words, we see the church as the instrument and body that God has chosen to use to reach our community. As His missionaries, we do not believe we have all the answers, but we do have a lot of very good questions that we enjoy sharing with others who care to join us on our journey. We attempt to live like Christ and love like Him as we understand that people do not connect with our church culture, but with our heart and our passion. And our heart and our passion are to see those in our community transformed by Christ and to join us in reaching out to others. |
